"The Supernatural Reasons Why I Love You by Lynn Wallace is a playful and emotional paranormal short story collection about love’s fortitude. Throughout the book, we follow an assortment of fantasy figures: a werewolf who needs to tell his fiancée why he disappears around the full moon, wizards who court florists with a pixie problem, a witch who accidentally turns her best friend into a zombie, and more. This book also contains the backstory of several characters from Wallace’s previous book, The Heart of Everything, but there is still plenty for you to enjoy in their tale if you - like me - have not read that one yet. Far from being just another paranormal romance, this collection is humorous, charming, and cutting as it explores what it means to know someone deeply and still love them.
I was pulled into The Supernatural Reasons Why I Love You as a fan of modern monster stories, and I was not disappointed. While she addresses heavier themes such as loss, Lynn Wallace maintains a light-hearted, feel-good tone throughout. If you like books with fun character chemistry and warm endings, this is one for you. As a fan of everything werewolf, I adored the opening story and its twists most of all but was wrapped up in the humor and delight of everything that followed. For those who wish to know a little more about the romantic content before picking up the book, all the affection displays are pretty PG. There are several references to violence, but nothing too gory. I highly recommend this to young adults, new adults, and adult readers, and I will be returning to Wallace’s work for more adventures in the future."

Whether you love Werewolves, Fairies, Wizards, Pixies, Zombies, Witches or ghosts there is something for everyone!
The anticipation and excitement I had for the Origin stories of our beloved characters Jesse, The Elf Priestess, and Alex was not disappointed! I loved getting to know these characters more learning who they are! Can not WAIT to continue their stories!!

What a great read!!! This book has some fun short stories from this very talented author. If you like twists in the paranormal romances of different creatures (werewolves, pixies, vampires, ghosts or zombies), then these short stories should be right up your alley! I recommend buying this book because as a mom, who hardly has time to read, I needed a book with short stories that catch and keep my attention and that wasn't very long at all. You can take each story individually and come back and finish when you have time!!! And keep my attention and curiosity, these stories did!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed “The Supernatural Reasons Why I Love You“! I am not usually a big fan of the paranormal genre, however this book of short stories was an exception! It was fun to read about a variety of different creatures (including pixies, werewolves, vampires and more) but set in our world. The collection of stories are a fun and easy read. The book is well written from the character development to the plots, and all the little details in between that bring it to life. I enjoyed having a book to read that had stories I could finish in one sitting as I don’t have a lot of extra time to spend with my nose in a book. I definitely recommend this book to anyone, as it is one everyone would enjoy!

This is a sweet well-written collection of short stories involving all kinds of supernatural beings.... werewolves, demons, witches and more. I will re-read these stories whenever I need a little pick-me-up.
I especially enjoyed the origin story of The Heart of Everything, Wallace's first novel. It explains some details that make you say, 'ah-ha!'
Lynn Wallace has a wonderful way of getting you into the character's minds.... you can feel and experience what they are feeling and experiencing. I am looking forward to her future works.

I enjoyed "The Supernatural Reasons Why I Love You"! It was fantastic to have bite sized looks at the world of paranormal romance and the various ways love takes us all by surprise. I especially love the variety of supernatural mythos that was explored in the book, no story felt the same and yet they were all perfectly believable as parts of the same world. And of course having more backstory on the original supernatural trio was so enlightening, I hope there will be more about them in the future. My only complaint is that I wish there was more!

I usually do not think of short stories as page turners. However, I found each of these short stories to be a little gem. I found that as I finished one story I wanted to read the next one. I laughed at the funny stories and I cried at the poignant stories. I really enjoyed reading Lynn Wallace's new book.
